Sectioned under 136. Section 136 allows you to be taken to a place of safety if a police officer is concerned that you may have a mental disorder and should be seen by a mental health professional. Section 136 s136 is part of the mental health act. Section 136 cannot be used if the mentally disordered person is in a private dwelling or the private garden or buildings associated with that place.
